Kirstin decided to do something independently after working at a med spa in town. In 2016 she started Kissed Peach with four clients and a dream. “I want to ensure that your experience is always a five-star one, and to do so, I have built a wonderful team of caring professionals.” Kirstin has been working as a licensed esthetician since 2015, became a registered nurse in 2021, and acquired an advanced laser tech certificate in 2024. Her favorite part of being an aesthetics provider is that she enjoys treating the whole person and solving problems. She still enjoys giving top-level services and exceeding customer service expectations. When Kirstin is not at the studio, she can be found at home with her husband Ryan, their two children, and pets. She enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with the chickens and goats on their acreage.

Lynzy has had a progressive nursing career since 2008, focusing on surgery, and eventually obtained her Nurse Practitioner in 2019. She has been passionate about applying her procedural knowledge to medical aesthetics. She has been trained by Aesthetic Medical Educators Training (AMET) in botulinum toxin and dermal filler with continuing additional hands-on training. Lynzy’s love for The Kissed Peach began years ago as a friend to Kirstin and she became a client thereafter. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, kayaking, cycling around the Des Moines metro, or warming up with hot yoga! She is dedicated to making people feel their best and working with them through their journey with medical aesthetics and wellness.

After deciding that corporate America wasn’t really what made her happy and fulfilled, Afton decided that she wanted to make a career of making people feel good about themselves. With the guidance of her wonderful esthetician, she set out to take on school and get licensed! Afton spends her days consumed with her family. Her husband, Rich, works in construction while their three kids; Karma, Olivia, and Felix, are in school. The fun begins in the summertime, as Afton’s favorite hobbies include camping, traveling, and (safely) enjoying the sunshine. Afton is developing a career that will fulfill her passion—helping clients feel good about their skin! She can’t wait to bring her passion and expertise to you at Kissed Peach Wax Saloon and learn even more.

Becky is a highly skilled and compassionate paramedic with over 20 years of healthcare experience. As a wife and mother of 3 children, weekends often find her on the sidelines of various sporting events, enthusiastically cheering on her children as they participate in baseball/softball, football, and basketball games as well as any other endeavors they may find themselves involved in.

Not only is Becky passionate about the well-being of others physically, but also mentally. She is an advocate for mental health in the first responder community and recognizes the unique challenges faced by first responders in their line of work. Driven by her passion to make a difference, she volunteers her time and expertise with her certified therapy dog, Ronan. Together, they visit public safety departments throughout the area as part of the First Responder Therapy Dogs organization to provide comfort and solace to those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving others.

Erin is a physician assistant and graduated from Des Moines University in 2019. She began her career in vascular surgery before transitioning into internal medicine. In 2023, she entered the field of aesthetic medicine and is certified in neurotoxin and dermal filler injections. Her favorite part of working in aesthetics is helping people feel confident and at their best.

She lives in Des Moines with her boyfriend, their cat, and their dog. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, knitting and crocheting, live music, running, cycling, and spending time outdoors. She founded the local Des Moines chapter of Silent Book Club and enjoys getting readers together for fun social events. She loves traveling across the country to attend music festivals and makes it a priority to travel abroad whenever possible.

Caitlyn McLain is an Infusion Specialist at The Kissed Peach who is passionate about helping clients look and feel their best through safe, effective wellness treatments. With a strong background in emergency and prehospital medicine, she brings both clinical expertise and compassionate care to every client experience.

Caitlyn began her career as a paramedic and has extensive experience in emergency medicine, cardiac care, plasma services, and aesthetics. In addition to her paramedic licensure, she is also a Registered Nurse and currently works full time in the emergency department while continuing her work in EMS and wellness care.

Outside of her clinical roles, Caitlyn is dedicated to serving her community. She volunteers as a firefighter/medic and is the founder of Do Good Des Moines, a nonprofit focused on providing warm clothing and essential items to community members in need each fall.

When she’s not caring for patients, Caitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, two dogs, and several chickens. In her free time, she loves kayaking and traveling whenever she can.
